Donations
The Lowe Syndrome Association (LSA) is a non-profit organization composed entirely of volunteers from all walks of life. The primary purposes of the LSA are to encourage and support medical research, provide information, and foster communication among families.
Funding for the LSA comes soley from donations and special fund raising events. You can help children with Lowe syndrome and the ongoing Lowe syndrome research by supporting the LSA.
How can I donate to the LSA?
1. Online
Perhaps the easiest way to donate to the LSA is online using our secure donation website. Simply click one of the buttons below which will direct you to our Authorize.net donation page. If you are not certain where your donation should be allocated, please use the "General Donation" button - and rest assured that the LSA Board of Directors will allocate the funds where they are needed most.

| Every two years the LSA organizes a conference for the LSA family, friends, physicians, and other professionals. By designating that your donation be allocated towards the conference fund, you will be helping to support this important event. | |
| If you would like to make a donation to the LSA in memory of a loved one or family friend, please use the "Memorial Donation" button at the left. Your donation will be listed under the “In Memory” section in the LSA publication "On the Beam". | |
| If you would like to make a donation to the LSA in honor or a loved one, family member or friend to help them celebrate a birthday, holiday, anniversary, etc., , please select the "Honorary Donation" button. Your donation will be listed under the “In Honor of” section in the LSA publication "On the Beam". |
2. Through the Mail
If you prefer, you may send your donation in the form of a check, money order or credit card charge through the mail. You will find complete directions on the forms indicated above, which you may print out and send in along with your donation. All donations must be in U.S. dollars. No cash please.
3. Over the Phone by Credit Card
If you prefer, you may call the Lowe Syndrome Association directly and use your major credit card.
4. Donate a vehicle
The Lowe Syndrome Association has partnered with the DonateACar program. For more

How Your Donations Help

- Your donation will support crucial medical research that offers hope for a better understanding of Lowe syndrome, more effective treatments, prevention, and perhaps even a cure.

- Your donation helps support publications that provide accurate and up-to-date information to parents, teachers, and physicians all over the world.

- Your donation helps join families together in a unique network of mutual support, helping them to overcome feelings of isolation and to cope with the constant challenges and difficulties they all share.

- Memorial Gifts
- Gifts can be made in any amount and will be acknowledged with dignity, both personally and in the newsletter. An appropriate memorial card will be sent in behalf of the giver to the family of the deceased. You may use the "Memorial Donation" button above, or if you wish, you may use the Membership & Donation Form.
- Special Occaision Gift
- Whether the occasion is a birthday, wedding, or holiday, your gift in honor of that special friend or relative will be acknowledged with a card to the honoree and an announcement in the newsletter. Use the "Honorary Donation" button above, or the Membership & Donation Form if you prefer to send your donation in the mail.
- Conference Fund
- Every two years, the LSA sponsors an International Conference. This is usually the only time that families affected by Lowe syndrome see each other and interact with professionals researching this condition. Because of financial constraints, some families find it difficult to attend the conference. The LSA is able to assist these families through a special Conference Fund. You can make an online donation to this fund by using the "Conference Fund" button above. If sending a check to the LSA, please clearly indicate the funds should be allocated to the "Conference Scholership Fund".

- If you shop on-line at stores offered through the Global Mall, ShopPlus, or OurBigStore, a portion of your purchase will be donated to the LSA.

- Encourage them to join and contribute. The LSA will send you forms and information.
