The Lowe Syndrome Association (LSA) is a non-profit organization composed entirely of volunteers from all walks of life. The primary purposes of the LSA are to encourage and support medical research, provide information, and foster communication among families.

Funding for the LSA comes soley from donations and special fund raising events. You can help children with Lowe syndrome and the ongoing Lowe syndrome research by supporting the LSA.

How can I donate?

1. Online using ECHOTrust

The Lowe Syndrome Association uses the secure ECHO online donation service. may make your donation directly to the LSA through our secure online service. For more information, please see the ECHOTrust website. Click the "Donate" button below to proceed to the ECHO secure online donation service.

2. Through the Mail

If you prefer, you may send your donation in the form of a check, money order or credit card charge through the mail. You will find complete directions on the forms indicated above, which you may print out and send in along with your donation. All donations must be in U.S. dollars. No cash please.

3. Donate a vehicle

The Lowe Syndrome Association has partnered with the DonateACar program. For more information, please refer to the Car Donation page.

How Your Donations Help

Research: Your donation will support crucial medical research that offers hope for a better understanding of Lowe syndrome, more effective treatments, prevention, and perhaps even a cure.

Education: Your donation helps support publications that provide accurate and up-to-date information to parents, teachers, and physicians all over the world.

Support: Your donation helps join families together in a unique network of mutual support, helping them to overcome feelings of isolation and to cope with the constant challenges and difficulties they all share.

What More Can I Do?

Become a Member: Your donation helps join families together in a unique network of mutual support, helping them to overcome feelings of isolation and to cope with the constant challenges and difficulties they all share.

Memorial Gifts: Gifts can be made in any amount and will be acknowledged with dignity, both personally and in the newsletter. An appropriate memorial card will be sent in behalf of the giver to the family of the deceased. If you wish, you may use the Membership & Donation Form.

Special Occaision Gift: Whether the occasion is a birthday, wedding, or holiday, your gift in honor of that special friend or relative will be acknowledged with a card to the honoree and an announcement in the newsletter. If you wish, you may use the Membership & Donation Form.

Conference Fund: Every two years, the LSA sponsors an International Conference. This is the only time that families affected by Lowe syndrome see each other and interact with professionals researching this condition. You may make an online donation and check the box indicating "Conference Scholership Fund" to have the funds allocated towards assisting families attend the next LSA Conference.

Living Will: Provide hope to those who live after you.

Shop On-line: If you shop on-line at stores offered through the Global Mall, ShopPlus, or OurBigStore, a portion of your purchase will be donated to the LSA.

Life Insurance Beneficiary: Showing that you care in this simple way today may help bring a cure tomorrow.

Other Methods: Contact us and ask for the LSA pamphlet, "Caring to Plan, Planning to Give."

Tell Your Friends: Encourage them to join and contribute. The LSA will send you forms and information.

The IRS recognizes the LSA as a Section 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization. All donations are tax deductible to the extent provided by law.
